Support polar bear conservation by attending our Polar Bear White Out today! By wearing your white t-shirt or coat you will receive a discount into the Zoo for this fun event. This event runs from 10 am - 1 pm and Rizzo, our Polar Bear, will be receiving special enrichment at 11:00 am sharp in Tidewater Cove.

There's lots of meatless alternatives out there to enjoy. Come to our Beastro this afternoon and enjoy the ultimate baked potato bar - a staff favorite! Visit our "Meatless Recipes" tab under "Take the Pledge" for some great ideas of how you can have meatless meals at home.
Carpool together!
Carpool together with someone to work, school, the store or even to soccer practice. Try taking the bus to school instead of getting a ride today. Not only are you decreasing your carbon footprint, but you're also enjoying your commute with someone!
Lights Out Lunch!
During the week of the Polar Ice Challenge there is a section of the Beastro that is not lit. That's right, the culinary team is supporting the challenge by turning off some lights! Join us for lunch in the non-lit section of the Beastro today. Can't make it to the Bistro? That's okay - eat lunch wherever you are using natural lighting.
